Path to College

For a variety of reasons, Nea graduates have an impressive list of college acceptances and college success. They also have a track record of successful transition to the college environment.

Nea's on-staff academic and college admissions counselor ensures that our learners pursue comprehensive and relevant academic programs during their middle school and high school years, with maximum enrichment and community service opportunities along the way.

Instead of Advanced Placement (AP) classes, all seniors graduating from Nea are required to have completed at least one college class. Many have taken numerous college classes by the time they graduate, proving with certainty their readiness for success at the collegiate level.

Real college experience is one of the reasons that college admissions offices look favorably on a transcript from Nea. Many graduates have already received more real college credit than AP courses and tests can provide.

Nea's unique college-like approach to education – emphasizing self-motivation, self-direction and taking personal responsiblity for outcomes – is another reason our graduates have found outstanding success after high school.
