Field Trips
Field trips provide students with a window to the real world that they don't get in the classroom. They can also help students understand real-world applications of more abstract topics in math and science.
Similar to project-based learning, several studies have shown that students retain more knowledge through the experience-based learning that field trips provide as compared to traditional classroom learning.
